This mission will help you understand what Media Literacy is and why it is important.  With our culture's fascination with media on demand, teachers should teach our students skills they can use to interpret all of the different messages they take in everyday.  Teachers can create a climate where students learn to be positive contributors and consumers of media, this mission will help do that.

 

The objectives of this mission:​

1. Give the teacher a working definition of media literacy.

2. Provide helpful websites that will give you ideas to use in your classroom today.

3. Help develop tools that can be updated as you learn more.
